The cantilever bridge has been finalised in 2015. It is again possible to walk all the way up to the Upper Gorkha district, on foot or with mules, for the first time since the earthquake struck Nepal in April 2015. This is a relief for the local people and also the trekkers that can now reach Manaslu Conservation Area safely. This work was financed by DfID and implemented by AF-ITECO. DROPSTONE provided advisory support for the geological feasibility study.
